the above image is from here; you may like to look at the other images on the linked-to page as well what you’re seeing is the “Pictorial Webster’s”, about which the Stumblng Tumblr found out here via this Johnny Carrera has created a book consisting of nothing but the more-than-12K images from the 1859 edition of Merriam-Webster’s American Dictionary of the English Language; they appear in the book in the order in which they originally appeared the cheapest edition of the book is US$2,600, but given the way it was put together, that’s not so surprising ——
